Investigations Section

The Investigations Section is divided into the General Investigations Unit, Cold Case Unit, Financial Crimes / Public Corruption Unit, the Jail Team and the Criminalistics Unit. The main function of the Investigations Section is to provide criminal investigative expertise and support to the various units of the Sheriff’s Police, as well as numerous, outside requesting agencies. Detectives assigned investigations complete specialized training specific to their disciplines.
