Sunday, March 7, 2010NORTHBROOK WOMAN ARRESTED AT MASSAGE THERAPY CLINIC Offered sex for cash to undercover officer, posing as a returning client

Complaints from citizens about illegal activities going on inside a Chicago massage clinic led to the weekend prostitution arrest of a Northbrook woman,Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said.

Edward Floyd

Kristy Chin, 37, is believed to be the owner of Therapy Spa, 3334 W. Peterson Ave. Chin was arrested after she offered to perform a sex act on an undercover officer. She made no such offer during the officer’s first visit to her clinic, but when he became a returning client, she made the illegal offer.

Chin is charged with prostitution, keeping a place of prostitution and performing a massage without a license.

Sheriff’s investigators will now work with city officials to see whether Chin’s business is properly licensed at that location.
Chin’s next court hearing is set for April 30 in Skokie.
