Friday, March 26, 2010 — Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart is asking for the public’s help in locating a teenage girl who has been reported missing by her parents.

Marisilia Garcia, 15, is missing after leaving her home in the unincorporated area of Cook County near Bridgeview.

Garcia, 5-7, 140 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion, was last seen by her family around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, when she left the family home in the 7000 block of West 74th Street, in the Nottingham Park subdivision.

She contacted her father by cell phone around 5:30 p.m. and said she was en route to a library in Burbank. She has not been seen nor heard from since.

Garcia was last seen wearing a pink jacket, white T-shirt and dark pants.
