Home > Press Page

Thursday, April 30, 2009 —   Cook County Sheriff’s Police will conduct a random roadside safety checkpoint during the evening hours of Saturday, May 2, 2009 in unincorporated Leyden Township, according to the office of Sheriff Thomas J. Dart.

During the safety check, vehicles will be stopped randomly based on the flow of traffic.  Drivers will be screened for proper licensing, registration and any other violations while all vehicles will be checked for equipment and other violations.
